MTF is committed to employing experienced and educated foster parents/families that are able to provide caring and therapeutic foster home for the children we serve
FOSTER IN YOUR HOME:
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Foster home must be a residential home and not an apartment
– Must have home insurance in place
– Must have windows to all bedrooms where a child/youth resides.
– Bedrooms will not be in the basement
– Must have working smoke detectors, carbon mono oxide detectors and fire extinguisher on every floor
– Must pass home inspection
– Must have more than one exit to the home
– Home study must be completed prior to assumption of the position as a foster parent
FOSTER IN OUR HOMES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Foster parents must be available to live in our homes 24hrs a day, 7 days a week
– Foster parents will be granted 2 weekends off per month.
– Foster parents in our homes must possess a Diploma or degree in Child and Youth Work, sociology or psychology
– Past experience in caring for foster children can also be considered for this position
