MTF is a community based treatment foster care program that exists to provide impeccable care and support for children and young adults in need of specialized treatment and programming individually tailored to encourage their success.
Many of the children and youth we care for have experienced physical or sexual violence. Some have witnessed or violence or might have experienced family violence. All of these have negative impacts on children and consequently these children might exhibit anti -social behaviours like physical or verbal aggression, stealing and many more. These children and youth have poor self- esteem, poor coping and coping skills.
At MTF, we are committed to providing safe and loving environment to those under our care. We endeavor to connect with children and youth of all cultural and religious background. We also provide ongoing training for foster parents/staff to better enhance our services and ensuring that our services are the cutting edge provider of foster care services for all who require our aid.

MTF residential services shall:

- The privacy of each individual shall be preserved
- The autonomy and success of each child /youth is the primary goal of our programs
- Ethical and professional services of the highest standard shall be provided at all times
- Corporal punishment shall not be instituted for any reason and is against the beliefs and guidelines of our organization
- The employment of highly qualified and experienced foster parents and expert staff that are sensitive to the needs of the children or youths under our care
- To advocate and provide specialized services for youth entrusted to our care
- To provide excellent and cost effective programming for all under our care that empowers each individual to their full potential
- To intervene in a minimally intrusive manner for the sake of preserving the well-being of every foster child within our care
- We shall partner with placement services to determine appropriate alternate long-term living arrangements for those under our care unable to return to their family for any reason
- To develop treatment goals based on a plan of care and taking into account various needs of our children to assist them in attaining success within our care
